Je suis une artiste textile vivant à Paris. Je travaille la broderie sur tissu, photographie, papier, vêtements, toile… J'ai découvert la broderie il y a 7 ans.
Elle m'apporte la sérénité, c'est un medium qui m'aide à canaliser mes émotions... J'aime broder entourée de ma famille mais aussi seule. J’aime faire, défaire et revenir sur une broderie.
J’adore cette idée selon laquelle la broderie est à nouveau un médium populaire. Nous avons encore l’image de nos arrière-grands-mères brodant la nuit au coin du feu. Comme tout art, parce que la broderie est un art, elle évolue avec le temps. Revisiter la broderie et lui donner la même importance que celle qu'elle avait avant.
La broderie est une façon de relier le passé au présent. La broderie ralentit le temps, et permet de transmettre des messages.
La broderie nous fait vivre des émotions intenses, comme peut le faire un tableau dans un musée.
J'ai juste besoin d'un fil, d'une aiguille et du matériel.
